The Transit Test

Each of these graphs shows the brightness of a distant star measured over time. Five of them are real transit events: a distant planet, passing in front of its star. The other ten are either much darker stars passing in front of the distant one, or random fluctuations in the star's brightness - junk data. Can you locate five exoplanets without any mistakes? Check the separate answer key once you're done! This test comes from an episode of Â鶹ÊÓƵAV's CrowdScience. Listen to the episode first to get some tips for solving the test.
