In collaboration with , the North East played host to some exciting events. The Tees Transporter Bridge played a leading role in for Â鶹ÊÓƵAV Music Day.

Bells Ring Out For Â鶹ÊÓƵAV Music Day

At 7pm on the 3rd June 2016, Â鶹ÊÓƵAV Music Day, church bells rang out at:

  • St Hilda's Church, Hartlepool, Co Durham
  • St Mary The Virgin, Ovingham, Northumberland
  • St Nicholas Church, Cramlington, Northumberland
  • Holy Cross Church, Ryton, Tyne and Wear
  • All Saints Parish Church, Lanchester, Co Durham

Music in Hospitals put on concerts in hospitals and care homes throughout the North East.
