Do you have a favourite tree?
Throughout June, the Today programme has been celebrating the connection between people and trees. Listeners have sent in photos of their favourite trees and explained why they mean so much.
Whether it’s an oak grown from an acorn, a lone ash tree in Perthshire, or a rowan tree planted in a child’s memory, there’s been a wide range of beautiful trees from around the UK.
You can see many of them on our Instagram @bbctodayprogramme. Listen here to a selection of the wonderful tree stories from Today listeners.
