The tragic pictures of the war in Ukraine continue to shock us every day and the plight of millions of Ukrainian refugees fleeing their homeland with few possessions to live abroad is a sad scenario. It is also a challenge for countries like Poland, Hungary, Ireland, or Moldova to cope with so many new arrivals. But there is an economic advantage to hosting the millions who have fled Ukraine, because many of them, mostly women, are highly skilled and can provide a boost to the local workforce. Anna Shevchenko is the chief executive of 3CN, a company that advises on risks for businesses, notably on understanding cultural issues. She's from Ukraine and she tells the 麻豆视频AV's Russell Padmore how that prompted her to set up a charity to help her fellow citizens in a time of war.
