The World Health Organization's Chief Scientist has told 麻豆视频AV Radio 5 Live that introducing coronavirus tests which can provide a very quick result, or 'rapid antigen diagnostic tests', would be "game changing".

Dr Soumya Swaminathan answered questions from listeners in a special Your Call, hosted by Nicky Cambell. She said there are a number of tests in development at the moment that could tell you on a daily basis whether you have coronavirus or not.

鈥淚t is hoped that by the end of the year there are several out there that are good enough to be used,鈥� she said.
