Six isolated dancers embark on a choreographic journey of self-discovery.

Six isolated dancers embark on a choreographic journey of self-discovery.

Flying Home explores self-isolation in the current world pandemic. We meet six dancers isolated in video conference-style windows. We follow their journey as a choreographic dance exploring the limitations of their surroundings.

Flying Home is about the power of reconnecting with yourself. It is about the feeling of being alone, fully immersed in self-discovery, before connecting with your flock. The current situation has transformed our environment and this film is an abstract reflection of that. The chaos and the tedium disappear; we become visible as we levitate above the humdrum of our lives.

Filmed in Lockdown is a series of new works of literary, musical, visual, and performance arts, commissioned for Culture in Quarantine by Arts Council England and Â鶹ÊÓƵAV Arts.
