Martin Luther King III, son of the civil rights protester Martin Luther King Jr, says many statues 鈥渄o need to come down, but I think there is a political process and method for it to happen.鈥�
Speaking to 5 live鈥檚 Emma Barnett, he said the 鈥渂ent of the life of a person鈥� should be considered before any effigies are removed, but that 鈥渨e need unifying statues that represent all of the people, not just one part of the population鈥�.
