60% of all infectious diseases in humans come from animals but we still don’t know which one gave us Covid-19. Many coronaviruses can be linked to bats but pass to another animal before infecting humans. So which animal does Prof Jonathan Ball, a virologist from the University of Nottingham, think could be behind Covid-19?
