What can singing mice teach us about human conversation?

Scientists have been researching how a species of mouse, Scotinomys teguina, coordinates vocalisations - an ability at which humans are particularly adept. Dr Michael Long from New York University School of Medicine explains how the study could help to design new therapeutic methods for people that have conditions that might limit vocal interaction - including autism and damage following a stroke.
