In recent years, there’s a been a huge growth online in the body positivity movement amongst amputees and people with a ‘limb difference’, but in a world which seems increasingly obsessed with having the ‘perfect body’, what’s it like to be missing one or more limbs?
This episode meets four men – one born with a limb difference, two who lost limbs in accidents and one who chose to have a limb removed – as they talk about their bodies, how they came to have a limb difference, how other people see them and what it’s like to live with prosthetics.
