At the height of Beatlemania in the sixties, Petula Clark was the female face of the "British invasion" of America, where she enjoyed 15 consecutive hit singles. Now aged 84, she spoke to Newsnight's culture correspondent Stephen Smith about her new album, From Now On, Elvis, and taking career advice from John Lennon.
