The sex lives of sparrows

New research from Imperial College London and Sheffield University shows that male sparrows can sense when their female partners are unfaithful, and will punish them by providing less food for their brood. Valerie Sanderson spoke to Professor Terry Burke, who has been studying sparrows on the Island of Lundy for twenty years.
