Why: “She is not only a fantastic vocalist but also a highly accomplished songwriter and musician. Despite this her music is hardly ever played in the mainstream. I first came across her early music as a teenager and found myself drawn into her haunting lyrics, melodies and captivating voice. Since then I have literally grown up with her music.
