The Magna Carta is one of the most famous documents in history and is still revered by Americans as a core text of their democracy. Eight hundred years since it was sealed, the Â鶹ÊÓƵAV World Service will be broadcasting a special debate from the Temple church in London. At the very site where much of Magna Carta was written, chief justices and experts from all over the world will be discussing the enduring legacy of the charter on democracy, human rights and political systems around the world.
