Brazilian Luiz Gasparetto claims to be able to paint via a 'psychic link' with dead artists. In this clip from Nationwide - entitled Renoir, Is That You? and originally broadcast on 15 August 1978 - he creates a new work in front of an audience as his mentor Elsie Dobugras looks on.

Gasparetto became well known in the late 1970s and 1980s by touring Europe with Dubugras to show the work that supposedly famous artists - such as Renoir, Da Vinci, Rembrandt, Toulouse-Lautrec, Modigliani, Picasso, Monet and others - created 'through' him.
