On March 10th 1914, suffragette Mary Richardson attacked a priceless painting in London's National Gallery with a meat cleaver. She was campaigning for women's right to vote in Britain. The painting, the Rokeby Venus, by Spanish 17th Century artist, Diego Vel谩zquez, was later restored.
