After gaining the thumbs up from hip hop royalty such as DJ Premier and Nas, South London rapper Smiler first burst onto the music scene with the arrival of 2006 street banger 鈥淣eighbourhood鈥�, which was playlisted by 1Xtra. His most recent mixtape 鈥淐larity鈥� featured collaborations from acts like Tinie Tempah, Ghetts and Roll Deep. The single 鈥淓nza鈥� was released in August 2010 and as well as being A-listed on 1Xtra, was also playlisted by Radio 1. Having previously supported D12 and GZA from the Wu-Tang Clan, Smiler has recently completed a tour with Luminar. Smiler also performed at the T in the Park festival in 2010. He has been invited to perform at SXSW in Texas and will be supporting Tinie Tempah on tour. After recently recording a track with Babyshambles frontman Pete Doherty, Smiler is currently working on his next single and debut album, due in 2011.
