The Nova Scotia-based electronic avant-jazz composer-producer curates a kaleidoscopic hour of experimental jazz that inspired the making of his vibrant new record, Familiar Science. Jazz fusion, jazz funk and wild improvised experiments from the likes of Don Cherry, Jamaaladeen Tacuma, Bernard Bonnier and Ornette Coleman to name a few.

JOYFULTALK is the alias of composer, producer, arranger, instrument builder, multi-instrumentalist and multimedia artist Jay Crocker. His third LP Familiar Science is out now via the Constellations label.
