France, Finland and Fiesta

The Â鶹ÊÓƵAV Concert Orchestra end Radio 3’s residency at the Royal Festival Hall in London with newly appointed Principal Guest conductor Anna-Maria Helsing and soprano Anu Komsi.

The Â鶹ÊÓƵAV Concert Orchestra is one of Southbank Centre’s Associate Orchestras and they end Radio 3’s residency at the Royal Festival Hall in London with their newly appointed Principal Guest conductor Anna-Maria Helsing. Soprano Anu Komsi joins them in Finnish and French songs, alongside Poulenc’s Sinfonietta and a piece for strings, timpani and percussion by Sebastian Fagerlund; and the programme ends with a celebration of live music making in Peruvian composer Jimmy Lopez’s Fiesta.
