Perthshire and Central Scotland

In Perthshire and Central Scotland, the judges visit an artist’s country cottage, a modern-day tower house and a textile designer’s retro home - but only one will make it to the final.

Architect and teacher Michael Angus, renowned Glasgow-based interior designer Anna Campbell Jones and globally recognised lifestyle blogger Kate Spiers scour the country for Scotland’s Home of the Year.

This episode sees them viewing three homes across Perthshire and Central Scotland. At an artist’s cottage near Pitlochry, Michael finds himself hunting for mice, Anna disappears into the artwork, and Kate can’t quite contain herself. Meanwhile, in Falkirk, the judges climb to the very top of a modern-day tower house to enjoys its urban views and minimalist style.

And they travel to Dunfermline, where they get their funk on at a three-storey home that exudes 70s vibes, with artwork, ornaments and a plethora of bold colours.

Each house is marked out of ten, with the judges looking for unique, well-designed and much-loved homes. But only one will make it through to the final.
