Stories of ghost sightings, witch hunts and mediumship

Do ghosts only appear at night-time? What's it like to communicate with those who have passed? Why did so many women confess to being witches? Michelle's guests have the answers.

It's Halloween season and Michelle has been gathering some supernatural stories. The gardener at Dumfries Railway Station, Louis Wall, remembers the day a ghost appeared on the platform in the middle of the afternoon. A bit of research soon uncovered that this was a long dead station master making a return visit. Susan Morrison has been researching too. She's been digging into Scotland's past to find out about witch trials for a new podcast series. Michelle hears the unbelievable acts that women were accused of and the things they could do to reduce their chances of being found guilty. Tommy Goodwin is a medium and explains how it was the tragic death of his daughter that opened a gateway to the other side. He shares his experiences of communicating with those who have passed and the comfort it brings him and others.
