Collectables

Episode 1 of 14

Lord Sugar begins the hunt for his next business partner as a new group of candidates set off on their first task, selling collectables at Wimbledon Car Boot Sale.

Lord Sugar begins the hunt for his next business partner as a new group of candidates set off on their first task, selling collectables at Wimbledon Car Boot Sale. As ever, Lord Sugar's trusted aides, Karren Brady and Claude Littner, follow proceedings.

Determined to make this the most testing Apprentice, yet, Lord Sugar makes the candidates aware they have a lot to live up to. They are sent off on their first task, where they must get their stock of collectables to Wimbledon Car Boot sale. The aim is to spot the treasure from within the trash and sell their stock for as much money as possible.

Chaos in the planning sees one team waste time at the valuers', while the other fails to shift collectables in shops, leading to dissent in the ranks. Trying to maximise sales, each team pounds the pavements. One team targets affluent Chelsea antique dealers, whilst the other pushes their collectables on tourists in Camden Market. One team is in such chaos they even lose their van full of all their stock.

In the boardroom, the candidates are left in no doubt as to just how unforgiving the process is, and someone is the first to hear the words 'You're Fired!'.
