Synthesizer expert Raphael Preston describes how he helped create Vangelis' signature sound as chief engineer at Nemo Studios in the late 1970s.
As part of the Â鶹ÊÓƵAV's Sound of Cinema season the pair discuss the making of the soundtrack to Chariots of Fire, working with films director Hugh Hudson and Raphael's complex studio arrangement that enabled Vangelis to create his enormous soundscapes.
