Prog Rock Concept Albums

Stuart presents his favourite progressive rock concept albums with tracks from Pink Floyd, Gentle Giant, Rick Wakeman and Gong.

Following the announcement that Jethro Tull are performing their entire Thick As A Brick album live for the first time since 1972 in April this year, Stuart Maconie showcases the great art of the prog-rock concept album.

In this show, the Freakier Zone, Stuart presents his favorites of the genre including tracks from Pink Floyd, Gentle Giant, Rick Wakeman and Gong.

Then on Sunday's Freak Zone, the focus is on the mother of all concept albums, Jethro Tull's Thick As A Brick.
