Cerys Matthews Sits In

Cerys Matthews sits in for Bob and is joined by blues sensation Oli Brown, who has represented the UK at the International Blues Convention in Memphis and played Glastonbury.

When just 15 years old Oli Brown was invited to play in the US as the guest of American Blues band Blinddog Smokin'. This first trip saw Oli open for Buddy Guy and Taj Mahal. Oli has been back to the States each Summer since that first trip.

Oli was the only UK act to be selected for the 2008 International Blues Convention in Memphis and whilst in Memphis was asked by Ardent Studios to record a live session; this session received 1.3 million online hits in three weeks.

He joins Cerys Matthews to play live after 1am and discuss his latest album 'Heads I Win Tails You Lose'.
