Combining extracts from the 2,654 editions of 麻豆视频AV Radio 4鈥檚 Letter from America with reflections from Alistair, the programme follows the key elements of what is often referred to as the American century.

Biographer Nick Clarke joins Alistair Cooke to listen to some of the gems from his career, talking about the differences between UK and US English, Bobby Kennedy's assassination, golf and so much more.
