EVENT DETAILS
This outdoor concert will be broadcast live on Â鶹ÊÓƵAV Radio Ulster/Foyle. Some parts of the programme will also feature on Â鶹ÊÓƵAV network television throughout the evening. A fuller programme of highlights from Proms in the Park in Belfast will be broadcast at a later date on local television and on Â鶹ÊÓƵAV4. Please check updated television listings for further information and on Twitter @bbcnievents.
TRANSPORT, ACCESS & PARKING
Access to The Titanic Slipways site will be from approximately 5.30pm. The event will begin at 7.30pm and should conclude at around 10.40pm. There will be a short interval of approximately 20 minutes.
Train and bus services will operate as normal – please check times at translink.co.uk
Car parking spaces will be clearly signposted within the Titanic Quarter and on approach roads and Queens Road.
Blue Badge Holders will be able to park free of charge at a designated (and well signposted) car park near to the concert venue.
We anticipate that exits from car parks in the immediate vicinity will be restricted for some time after the event and until Queens Road is clear of pedestrians.
Please note that the parking charge for the evening is expected to be approximately £5.00 per vehicle.
Car parking facilities for this event are not provided by the Â鶹ÊÓƵAV.
Ticket-holders with Access Requirements should register details of their needs, including any requirement for wheelchair access, with as much notice as possible. These details will be collated by Ticketmaster on the Â鶹ÊÓƵAV’s behalf.
WHAT TO WEAR/WHAT TO BRING
As this is an outdoor event, please make sure to dress for the weather – warm and waterproof clothing is advised.
No furniture, other than a single folding chair per ticket holder, will be allowed. Please be considerate with the positioning of your folding chair/s to avoid obstructing the view of other concert attendees.
Please only bring disposable cutlery.
Items NOT permitted on site include: picnic tables, large umbrellas, sharp objects (including knives), tins, glass items, fireworks or barbecues.
DRINKS POLICY AND RECYCLING
Alcohol will not be available for purchase on site. Ticket holders are permitted to bring alcoholic drinks with them.
Alcohol is only permitted for personal consumption by persons aged 18yrs +.
Any alcoholic or soft drinks must be carried in card or plastic containers.
We would encourage everyone to take their empty drinks containers and other picnic items with them at the end of the evening and to ensure that they are recycled accordingly. This reflects our concern to minimise any adverse environmental impacts linked to our concert.
Designated bins will be available on site for recyclable waste. Please take time to use them, or to take any other rubbish with you at the end of the evening.
TICKETS
The booking process for Â鶹ÊÓƵAV Proms in the Park 2019 in Belfast has been administered by Ticketmaster on behalf of the Â鶹ÊÓƵAV.
Concert goers should note that if they have misplaced or cannot find their tickets, replacement tickets are not guaranteed and will only be provided by Ticketmaster on a discretionary basis.
The ticket holder assumes all risk of injury and all responsibility for property loss, destruction or theft and releases the organisers, performers, sponsors, venue and their employees from any liability thereafter. Statutory rights are not affected.
The Â鶹ÊÓƵAV reserves the right to make any alteration to the advertised details for this event. Such changes may reflect editorial and/or logistical considerations and will always be kept to a minimum.
The Â鶹ÊÓƵAV reserves the right to cancel and/or amend this event and/or the ticket process at any stage if deemed necessary, or in response to circumstances that are outside its control.
TRANSFERRING TICKETS (VIA YOUR TICKETMASTER ACCOUNT)
If you are no longer able to use your Proms in the Park 2019 ticket/s, you can always share them someone with who is able to attend using Ticketmaster’s ‘Ticket Transfer’ facility.
To transfer your tickets, you must sign into your Ticketmaster account and follow the instructions. The person that you are sending your ticket/s to will need an email address and a Ticketmaster account, which can be created when accepting tickets.
Please note that this is the only process by which you can send/transfer your Proms in the Park 2019 tickets.
ADMISSION TO TITANIC SLIPWAYS SITE
All tickets will be electronically scanned before admission to the venue.Persons without a valid ticket will not be admitted.
ID checks may be required for security purposes.
The organisers reserve the right to search members of the public on entry to the venue in accordance with their security policy, and if the potential risk to public safety warrants such a search. For your own safety, and the safety of others, we would ask you to co-operate with venue staff when search procedures are in place. Persons who do not co-operate with the search procedures may be refused admission or removed from the venue.
The organisers reserve the right to refuse admission, or to remove a ticket holder for behaviour which is deemed likely to cause damage, injury, nuisance or annoyance.
There will be NO RE-ADMISSION once you have left the venue.
Children are not permitted on site unless accompanied by an adult. Everyone attending, including children and young people, must have an individual ticket. Children under the age of 2yrs do not require a ticket but must be in the care of an adult aged 18yrs+.
No dogs allowed other than Assistance Dogs.
FILMING & FIREWORKS
All ticket holders consent to the filming and sound recording by the Â鶹ÊÓƵAV of themselves as members of the audience at Â鶹ÊÓƵAV Proms in the Park.
Please note that photography/recording of individual performances on stage is not permitted by audience members for copyright reasons.
CCTV may be in operation for the safety and security of concert goers.
Please be aware that a fireworks display may accompany the concert and that smoke effects, strobe lighting, lasers, pyrotechnics and loud noises may be used at the event.
