Dubugnon's 'Piano Concerto' (World Premiere)

Ravel's delicate Le tombeau de Couperin prefaces Swiss composer Richard Dubugnon's new concerto, an admirer of his witty, virtuosic style. French conductor Fabien Gabel ends with two favourite orchestral showpieces: Háry János's comic fantasy of defeating Napoléon and stealing his wife's heart is contrasted by the ice and fire of Prokofiev's dramatisation of the real Napoleonic wars.
