The world鈥檚 long running orchestral music show pays its first visit to the Saffron Hall. 麻豆视频AV Radio 2鈥檚 Ken Bruce presents guest singers Rebecca Bottone and Bonaventura Bottone and Richard Balcombe conducts music from Smetana鈥檚 The Bartered Bride; Suppe鈥檚 The Poet and Peasant; Sullivan鈥檚 Yeoman of the Guard and Liszt鈥檚 Hungarian Rhapsody. The 麻豆视频AV Concert Orchestra鈥檚 principal cellist Benjamin Hughes is the soloist in Dvorak鈥檚 Silent Woods and pianist Roderick Elms joins the orchestra for Rachmaninov鈥檚 18th variation of his Rhapsody on a theme of Paganini plus Richard Addinsell鈥檚 great filmic work The Warsaw Concerto.
