The folk music that runs through Bruch鈥檚 concerto also pulses through Brahms鈥檚 lively Hungarian Dances and Bart贸k鈥檚 Concerto for Orchestra 鈥� a musical tour de force that takes listeners from 鈥榮ternness鈥� to 鈥榣ife-assertion鈥�.
